Admissions & Fees at a Glance
Joining Rochford’s takes six steps: enquire, free consultation, a friendly assessment, a written offer, enrolment and orientation. Students aged 5 to 18 are placed by competency, not age. Year 1 to 11 fees are charged over four terms a year, from RM 3,400 to RM 4,900 a term.
Who can apply
Students aged 5 to 18, at our Falim (Ipoh) school, our Ipoh Garden East and Cameron Highlands centres, or through Online Distance Learning (ODL). We place students by competency and readiness, not by age, and there is no specific academic entry requirement: we carry out our own initial assessment. All teaching is in English.
The six steps
- Enquire by WhatsApp, phone, email or a walk-in visit.
- Free consultation, in person or online, with no obligation.
- Assessment: a short, friendly diagnostic, not a pass/fail exam.
- Written offer with the recommended programme and fee breakdown.
- Enrolment: registration form, documents and the first term’s fees.
- Welcome: orientation and an introduction to the modular system.
Documents to prepare
- Child’s birth certificate
- Child’s passport or MyKid / MyKad
- Most recent school reports (last 1–2 years if available)
- Any previous IGCSE or exam results
- Parent or guardian’s MyKad or passport
- Two passport-sized photographs of the child

Tuition fees (per term, four terms a year)

A Level: one-off registration fee RM 1,500, and a deposit of RM 6,222 (one term’s fee) offset against the final term. Exam board fees (Pearson / CAIE) are charged separately.
Tuition does not include books, uniforms, transport, food, co-curricular activities, educational visits, external examination fees or applicable government taxes. The full schedule, scholarships and terms are on the School Fees page, which is the official reference.
Common questions
Does my child need to pass an entrance test?
No. There is no specific academic requirement for entry. Rochford’s carries out its own initial assessment to place your child by competency and readiness.
How much are the fees?
Fees are charged per term over a four-term year: RM 3,400 a term for Year 1–5, RM 3,900 for Year 6–8 and RM 4,900 for Year 9–11 (IGCSE). See the School Fees page for full details.
Can my child study online?
Yes. Rochford’s Online Distance Learning (ODL) follows the same admission steps, with consultations and assessments held online.
